This cross-sectional study was conducted to assess the level of job satisfaction among doctors working in a tertiary hospital in Delhi.

The study results show that factors like average working hour per day and number of night shifts had a significant impact on job satisfaction of the study group. A significant number of doctors in the study group were dissatisfied with the average number of working hours, number of night shifts and the majority did not perceive their work environment as good.
