International recruitment of health personnel: draft global code of practice

This report summarizes the work undertaken to implement resolutions WHA57.19 and WHA58.17, both entitled “International migration of health personnel: a challenge for health systems in developing countries.”
The report contains as an annex the draft Global Code of Practice on International Recruitment of Health Personnel and invites the Executive Board of WHO to consider a resolution leading to its adoption at the World Health Assembly.
