Alliance Eighth Board Meeting, 15-16 June 2009, Beijing, China
The Global Health Workforce Alliance is holding its Eighth Board meeting in Beijing, China from 15 - 16 June 2009.
Participants are focusing on a number of issues including Country Action, Partnerships, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Advocacy and Communications. On Country Action, the Board is discussing the Country Collaboration Framework, the HRH profiling of crisis countries and the presentation of the new case studies.
The board meeting is also an opportunity to learn from the host country, China, about their HRH situation as distinguished experts are speaking at the meeting. A field visit has also been organized for the board. The outcomes resulting from the Alliance board meeting will be made available on this web page.
