The 9th Alliance Board meeting in Bangkok
The Alliance Board convened its 9th meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on 1 - 2 February 2010.
During the session, the Board members focused discussions on strategic orientations of the Alliance in 2010-2011, and beyond. The Board also examines technical work carried out by the Secretariat, including initiatives on community health workers, tracking progress and country profiles to report on the implementation of Kampala Declaration and Agenda for Global Action and the draft Global Code of Practice on international recruitment of health personnel. Also discussions were held around the plans for the Second Global Forum on HRH to take place in 2011.
In its role of governing body of the Alliance, the Board also reviewed to endorse the planning and management priorities for the coming year.
