The Alliance has recently granted membership to 31 institutions and organizations, some of whose profiles are now available online. An overview of the newly accepted members is available below. The current membership totals 338 organizations divided into the following categories and regions:
To date, 273 members have provided essential information about their organization and a web profile is available from the members section on this web site. Each profiles gives an overview of the organization's work, a brief description of their current activities and a section dedicated to their contribution to resolving the HRH crisis. This collection of organizations' profiles is as a unique platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, forging new collaborative relationships as well as strengthening the Alliance members network community.

Health Policy Research Center (HPRC) - Shiraz University of Medical Sciences
HPRC is an academic center, in affiliation with Shiraz University of Medical Sciences based in Shiraz, Iran. The HPRC has a special focus on health issues such as HIV/AIDS, TB and cancer, as well as health economics, health equity, access, effectiveness, efficiency and coverage. -

Deloitte Consulting is a US-based professional services organization devoted to promoting economic development and poverty reduction in emerging markets. Enfants du Monde
EdM is a Swiss NGO to help and protect children from disadvantaged countries through development projects in the educational and health sectors. EdM supports through its capacity building and training programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America the implementation of the WHO IFC framework. -
Integrated Development in Focus (DIF)
DIF is a capacity building social development organization based in Ghana. It promotes models of participatory, sustainable and self-reliant development through action-research, and uses creative techniques to transfer essential health knowledge to the community. -
ITEM Interactive
ITEM Interactive developed an innovative approach to health and medical training using interactive video-based programs. The aim is to complement traditional learning methods with computer-aided programs developed in partnership with professionals and agencies in the countries. -
Mobile Diagnosis
Mobile Diagnosis is an association aimed at sharing knowledge and providing diagnostic support to health workers worldwide, by using mobile phone technology. The association also provides educational support and guidance on the use of mobile technology, mainly for resource limited and rural settings. -
Africa Health Placements
AHP's mission is to support and enhance healthcare systems in Africa, by finding, placing and retaining healthcare workers in rural and underserved areas. AHP works to fill the healthcare gap in Africa, and advocates for health professions to be seen as truly viable and exciting career options. -
World Lung Foundation
World Lung Foundation’s (WLF) mission is to improve the lives of individuals across the world by strengthening community capacity to prevent and manage lung disease. -
Global Health Alliance Western Australia
GHAWA is a strategic partnership for transcultural health improvement, focusing on capacity building for nursing and midwifery services. The current key program of GHAWA is based in Tanzania and is aimed at improving maternal health outcomes, strengthening the capacity and quality of the tutors as well as contributing to community level development.
