Call for Proposals - Implementation Research for health MDG 4, 5 and 6
A call for proposals has been issued to support implementation research that contributes to the scale-up of effective health interventions related to MDGs 4, 5 and 6 in one of the three priority areas
- Strategies to facilitate the integration of services to result in improved health outcomes and greater efficiencies;
- Strategies to improve the performance of health workers (through strengthened supervision and increased motivation) to deliver quality services; and
- Strategies for community engagement to increase awareness of, access to, and utilization of health services, and provision of appropriate services at the community level.
This is a joint initiative of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH), The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR), the Department of Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (MCA), the Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP), the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR).
