Links to the health workforce crisis
AYNLA networks with government and non-government agencies, media & advocacy groups and other nursing organizations to talk about how to alleviate workforce crisis and plans and implements programs with them as well. AYNLA works as an advocate group and maintains active consultations with its members keeping them actively involve with issues concerning workforce and nursing in general. Currently, AYNLA works with the national government in dealing with the nursing workforce crisis in the Philippines where a lot of newly-practicing nurses are unemployed or underemployed and were being charged exorbitant fees by institutions to undergo “trainings”. AYNLA works with these nurses and stands for their rights to be heard.
