The Suryodaya Centre for Health Information in Chennai, India works with NGOs. It has trained nurses in running side laboratories attached to STI clinics in 13 districts-mainly rural- of the state of Tamilndu. It monitors their work through onsite visits, cross check samples through an external quality assurance officer.
