Dr Adeniyi Aderoba
Biography
Dr Adeniyi Aderoba, MBBS, MSc., FWACS, FMCOG, is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with the regional government in Nigeria, where he led a large referral women health department and supervised HIV/AIDS services. He is experienced in research priority setting, conducting collaborative research and implementing public health projects. He recently supported the WHO as a consultant to identify research priorities for intrapartum care.
Adeniyi holds an MSc. in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford and postgraduate fellowships in obstetrics and gynaecology from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and the West African College of Surgeons. A 2017-18 Hubert Humphrey Fellow in Public Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public health, Emory University, Adeniyi interests include health systems strengthening and policy research, especially in sexual and reproductive health, and maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health.
