Armed with a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr Ostovar's academic prowess is matched only by his practical experience.

His illustrious career has seen him occupy pivotal roles in academia, government, and non-profit sectors, including a tenure as the Director-General of NCDs at the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
