Ahmed Alhadyan

Biography

Ahmed Alhadyan, OD, MSc, is a healthcare professional from Saudi Arabia. He holds a Doctor of Optometry degree as well as a master’s degree in optometry and vision science from King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. He is trained to manage and treat vision and ocular diseases, prescribe various contact lenses, and provide vision rehabilitation aids for different conditions. Ahmed is interested in improving the quality of medical products, specifically optical and eye products, and assistive technology in general. He has experience working in healthcare policies and regulations at the Ministry of Health and has reviewed guidelines as a GDG with the World Health Organization. Additionally, he has contributed to the development of an eye screening platform using AI in health technology. Currently, he serves as an ambassador with Saudi Standards and the Gulf Standardization Authority, as well as a researcher and evaluator for healthcare CPD activities. Ahmed believes in the importance of teamwork and collaboration for the health and well-being of people.
