Pharmacist, Epidemiologist, Ms Pharmaceutical Care, MSc Education
Nationality: Colombian
With more than 20 years of experience almost all of them in Pharmacovigilance, Angela is a global leader consultant and lecturer in pharmacovigilance, safe use of medications and medical devices, patient safety, management of information sources and patient education, including standards for hospitals national and international accreditation (JCI), with more than 10 years of experience as a teacher in the same areas. Author of multiple publications including book chapters, Member of Research Ethics Committees, Founding Member and past President of the Colombian Association of Pharmacovigilance, President of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) and ISoP Special Interest Group (SIG) "Medication errors" founding member and Co-chair. ISoP SIG Risk Communication member and ISoP SIG Patient Engagement founding member. Founding member of Latin American Network of Human Factors and Ergonomics in Healthcare Systems (RELAESA). Active member of the Colombian National College of Pharmacist as leader in Community Pharmacy for public policy building. Currently Pharmacy Career Director in Pontifical Xavierian University.
