Biography

Professor Bette Liu (MBBS MPH DPhil) is a medically trained epidemiologist and leads the Population Health Group at the National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) in Australia. She has appointments in the School of Population Health at UNSW Sydney and in the University of Sydney School of Public Health. She trained in medicine and public health at the University of Sydney and has a doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Oxford. Her work focuses on using large scale epidemiological data to evaluate vaccine programs to inform communicable diseases control policy with a particular interest in adult vaccination.
