Dr Craig Dalton
Biography
Dr Craig Dalton is a public health physician with NSW Health in Newcastle, Australia, with experience in communicable disease control, outbreak response, emergency preparedness and public health training. He has published on after-action reviews in the peer-reviewed literature, as well as a practical how-to guidance manual. He has contributed to World Health Organization work on simulation exercises and after-action reviews, including approaches to strengthen the capture, synthesis and application of lessons from emergencies. His current interests include translating after-action findings into system improvement and the responsible use of artificial intelligence to support public health preparedness. He also brings experience in applied epidemiology and research.
