Dalia Abouhussein

Ass Prof Dalia Abouhussein is the QA General Manager of the Egyptian Drug Authority, Cairo, Egypt.

She holds a BSc of pharmaceutical sciences, master’s degree and PhD in pharmaceutics (Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University) and total quality management diploma (American University in Cairo).

She has extensive regulatory experience over 23 years within the field of regulation of medicine. She started her career as quality control specialist in the National Organization for Drug Control and Research (NODCAR) where she was promoted to NODCAR Chairman Assistant. Throughout her career, she participated as a member in several regulatory committees as evaluation of stability studies files, evaluation of CTD quality module files, evaluation of clinical trial protocols, licensing of manufacturers and pricing committees. She joined WHO as temporary advisor supporting Regulatory System Strengthening (RSS) Team and participated in several GBT assessments since 2022. She has published 13 peer reviewed articles in pharmaceutical/regulatory scopes.
