Daniel is obsessed with ensuring that every child, adolescent and young person gets the support they need whenever they need it, particularly during school years, so they can have healthy and happy lives, full of opportunities.

This is why he founded Welbin, a social startup that helps schools assess needs and risks related to the wellbeing of every student, conduct follow-ups and make evidence-based and data-driven decisions.

Daniel is a medical doctor with master's degrees in public health and in public policy, with over 10 years of experience, which covers research, global health advocacy, and policy and programme design, implementation and evaluation in more than 10 countries.
