Dr Anne-Catherine Viso
Biography
Anne-Catherine Viso is currently the Director of the Scientific and International Affairs Department at Santé publique France, the French Public Health Agency. She joined the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS), Santé Publique France in 2006.
She is the alternate member for France to the Management Board of ECDC and Secretary General of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI) since January 2022. She has been involved in multiple activities concerned with global public health in relation to the strengthening of National Public Health Institutes.
She has a particular interest in developing frameworks for peer-to-peer review and external evaluations of organisations. She was involved in the external evaluations of the ECDC as member of the steering committee and chaired the steering committee of the third external evaluation. Anne-Catherine participated in several peer-to-peer reviews of the National Public Health Institutes.
She is a fellow by distinction of the UK Faculty of Public Health since 2019.
