Prof Auliya Suwantika
Biography
Prof. Suwantika is a professor of health economics at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia. His research is focused on economic evaluations of new healthcare interventions in low- and middle-income countries, including adequate coverage for maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health and nutrition (https://bit.ly/Suwantika). These evaluations enable a comprehensive approach to the decision-making process by considering the role of multiple stakeholders (e.g., government, healthcare provider, and payer). Through his works, he has been appointed to be a member of the Indonesian Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (ITAGI) health economics working group and the Indonesian National Drug Formulary Committee. His involvement in these groups accelerates translating research into an applicable recommendation. He has also been appointed to be a member of the Strengthening Active Partnerships for Policy and Health Intervention Research and Evaluation (SAPPHIRE) Advisory Committee, which is focused on activities to strengthen health technology assessment of new healthcare interventions in Asia.
