Dr Bernadette O’Hare
Biography
Bernadette O’Hare is Senior Lecturer in Global Health and Deputy Head of the Division of Infection and Global Health at the University of St Andrews in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Dr O’Hare’s areas of expertise include taxation, public financing, and government revenue and the right to the determinants of health. Dr O’Hare has Bachelor’s degrees in Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics; Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene; and a Master’s degree in Public Health. Dr O’Hare is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health of London. Dr O’Hare founded and co-leads the Government Revenue and Development Estimations (GRADE) project.
