Dr Goran Abdurrahman

Dr Goran Abdurrahman is a national of Iraq and Germany, and a diagnostics and immunology expert with more than a decade of experience in laboratory medicine, in vitro diagnostics, and global diagnostics regulation. He currently serves as Senior IVD Product Specialist at TÜV Rheinland, Germany, where he performs and leads the evaluation and conformity assessment of diagnostic technologies for the European market. Previously, he worked as a Scientific Officer at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in Germany, supporting regulatory harmonization and training of diagnostic regulators, and as manager of a diagnostic laboratory in Iraq, where he developed and implemented efficient diagnostic workflows. Dr Abdurrahman also serves as an External Expert Trainer for regulatory capacity-building initiatives in Africa. He holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Greifswald, Germany, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications.
