Biography

Haiqin Fang obtained the Ph.D. degree from Shenyang pharmaceutical university, in 2012. From 2012-present, she has worked at the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) as a professor. Her general research interests are in the areas of identification of unknown hazards in foods, risk assessment for nutrients and contaminants in the food, and development of food safety standards for special diets and nutrition. In particular, she works as the executive director for the National food safety risk assessment project of Trans Fatty Acid Intake and Health Risk Assessment of Chinese Residents.

She serves as a member of several related committees, including the Risk Monitoring Committee of National Food Safety Risk Assessment Committee, Molecular and Biochemical Committee of China Toxicology Association, and Nutrition Toxicology Committee of Chinese Nutrition Society.
