Biography

Doctor Harjyot Khosa is a feminist, psychologist and a COVID-19 survivor, who has long been working on health and human rights of communities. She is currently a Senior Technical Advisor for International Planned Parenthood Federation, South Asia Regional Office. Harjyot is actively involved in the civil society and community rights movement, across south Asia. Her areas of interest and work include gender, sexual reproductive health rights, mental health, HIV-TB etc. Harjyot’s aptitude is founded on nearly two decades of work for/ with the government, donors and communities, where she found her niche as an advocate. She has worked with organizations like Alliance India and YRG Care in past. She is currently serving as one of the CSO representative on the ‘The Access to COVID-19 Tools (ACT) Accelerator,’ which is a groundbreaking global collaboration to accelerate development, production, and equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatments, and vaccines. She is also serving as a scientific working group member, in Global Pandemic Preparedness and Response Scheme, I-DAIR.  She holds a doctorate in Psychology and enjoys reading literature in her free time.
