Biography

Dr. Patrick Lammie is Director of the Neglected Tropical Diseases Support Center (NTD-SC), at The Task Force for Global Health (TFGH). After more than two decades as a research scientist studying lymphatic filariasis and other parasitic diseases at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, he moved to the TFGH in 2013 to lead the Coalition for Operational Research on NTDs (COR-NTD), a multi-donor funded research collaboration focused on improving the effectiveness of NTD programs.  He currently chairs the WHO Diagnostics Technical Advisory Group, helping set the global agenda around NTD diagnostics and PAHO’s Strategic Advisory Group for the Disease Elimination Initiative.
