Dr Sonam Wangchuk

Dr Sonam got his PhD degree in Biomedical Science from the  Faculty of Medicine, Oita University in Japan. He was the key person to establish the Royal Centers for Disease Control in Bhutan and foster institutional linkages with international institutes to enhance the  public health surveillance, laboratory capacity and research. He is currently working as the Health specialist at the same institute. He is also involved as Technical Advisory Group members for various national public health programes like immunization, vector borne diseases, and other infectious diseases.
