Biography
Dr Tasha Stehling-Ariza is an Epidemiologist in the Center for Global Health at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She coordinates and provides technical guidance to low and middle income countries for outbreak preparedness and response, surveillance, and analytics. Her emergency experience at CDC includes responses for polio, Ebola, Zika, coronavirus, and natural disasters. Prior to CDC, she led field research on community recovery after large natural and manmade disasters. She also has extensive experience with data management, analytics, and building data infrastructure in varying resource settings. She received her B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and her Ph.D. and M.P.H. from Columbia University.
