Elisabeth de Vries is Professor of Medical Oncology at the University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. Her focus is on interdisciplinary, translational research, aiming for cancer personalized medicine. She studies new medical imaging modalities and performs clinical trials. She is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO) Cancer Medicine Committee and a member of the ESMO - Magnitude of Clinical Benefit Scale. She is a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences and a Fellow of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences.
