Dr Imen Jaouadi

Biography

Dr Imen Jaouadi is an assistant professor at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Tunis (University of La Manouba), holding a Ph.D. in health economics. Her teaching and research focus on health systems and policies, health financing, governance and universal health coverage (UHC), with a regional focus on the MENA region and Francophone Africa. She has collaborated extensively with the World Health Organization, PATH and IOM, co-authoring WHO technical reports on strategic purchasing and UHC governance in Tunisia and publishing in journals such as Health Policy and Planning. She played an active role in Tunisia's Societal Dialogue on health policy and contributed to the white paper and the National Health Policy 2030. She recently joined the WHO Technical Advisory Group on Simulation Exercises and Action Reviews (SERTAG).
