Professor Indah S Widyahening
Biography
Indah S Widyahening is a Professor in the Community Medicine Department of Universitas Indonesia. A family physician by training, she also holds a master degree in occupational health and safety and obtained a PhD in Epidemiology from the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands. She is the Head of the Primary Health Care Research and Innovation Center of the Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute and currently serves as the Primary Care and Health Promotion Expert at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. She is affiliated to the Harvard Chan School of Public Health as a Bernard Lown Scholar in Cardiovascular Health and awarded "Diabetes Champion" by the World Diabetes Foundation. She is one of the contributors of the NCD-RisC collaboration, a health scientists network that provides global data on risk factors for non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
