Mr Jean-Christophe Flatin

Jean-Christophe Flatin currently leads Mars Edge the new entrepreneurial segment of Mars, Incorporated dedicated to human nutrition. He is a member of the Mars Leadership Team and since 2018 also heads up Science, Technology and Innovation for all of Mars. Jean-Christophe joined Mars in 1992 as Trade Expenditures Controller for Masterfoods France. In 2000, he became CFO of EBLY, one of the company’s first acquisitions within Europe, and led its integration into the Food business.  He then focused on pets, moving to Royal Canin in 2002 as Financial Integrator, Global Commercial Director, CFO, and, in 2007, Global President. Lastly, he was President of Mars Global Chocolate. As a leader in the food industry, he wants to participate in problem-solving efforts to address the many social, economic, and health impacts antimicrobial resistance is having on people, plants, animals, and the environment.  He has a master’s degree in management from ESCP Europe.
