Joseph Ward

Dr. Joseph Ward, MBBS, PhD, is an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Paediatrics at the UCL GOS Institute of Child Health, and a Consultant General Paediatrician in central London. He completed his PhD in Epidemiology at UCL. His research focuses are on public health epidemiology and adolescent health. He analyses large, linked datasets to examine trends in mortality, morbidity and hospitalisation in children and young people, and explore how variation in social and other determinants affect population health. He is a commissioner for the current Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing.
