Biography

Dr. Julliet Omwoha is an Adolescent Health Program Manager at the Division of Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) in the Ministry of Health in Kenya. She holds a master’s degree in Paediatrics and Child Health from the University of Nairobi. In her role, she oversees policy development, resource mobilization and management, adolescent health education and awareness campaigns.

As a passionate advocate for adolescent health, Dr. Omwoha has collaborated with schools and community programs, and has partnered with various non-government organizations to improve the wellbeing of adolescents across multiple areas. She has particular interest in mentoring and leadership development for adolescents and young people. A digital health advocate, she runs the Instagram page ‘dimpled_paediatrician’ where she educates parents, helping them navigate their everyday struggles with children and adolescents. Dr. Omwoha is also a member of WHO FIDES; a global network of healthcare influencers raising health awareness and combating misinformation.
