Kameshwar Prasad
Biography
Prof. Kameshwar Prasad is a professor of neurology and Director of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, India. He has more than 40 years of experience in neurology practice, education and research and 30 years in clinical epidemiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has published more than 375 papers in peer-reviewed journals with h-index of 51 and two popular text books. His areas of research interest include Neuro-infections, Stroke, Evidence-Based Medicine, Clinical Trials, Meta-Analysis, Medical Education, and Clinical Epidemiology. He has received research grants of more than 450 million rupees. He is a contributing Editor of the Edinburgh-based Cochrane Stroke Group and a member of the International Editorial Advisory Board of BMJ (“British Medical Journal”). He is a fellow of National Academy of Medical Sciences. He has served many national and international organisations including the World Bank, and WHO.
