Karla Soares-Weiser

Karla Soares-Weiser is Editor in Chief at Cochrane. She leads Cochrane's global network of over 100,000 people across 120 countries. Karla focuses on implementing the most effective, efficient, and equitable ways to deliver the essential evidence people, governments, and health organizations worldwide need now more than ever. She has led and contributed to many multidisciplinary, multicountry teams producing trusted health and social care evidence for over 25 years. She has co-authored over 60 systematic reviews and keenly contributes to health and policy forums worldwide.
