Katerini T. Storeng
Biography
Katerini T. Storeng leads the Global Health Politics research group at the University of Oslo's Centre for Development and the Environment. She is a Professor of Medical Anthropology and Global Health, with current research projects focused on public-private partnerships in the domains of pandemic preparedness and response and digital health technologies. She also studies the history and politics of knowledge production and evidence in policymaking, as has conducted expensive health systems and policy research focused on maternal and reproductive health. She has degrees from the LSHTM, UCL and McGill University.
Storeng is co-Editor-in-Chief of Globalization & Health and co-Director of the Collective on the Political Determinants of Health, an international network dedicated to advancing research on how power constellations, institutions and interests affect health within different political systems and cultures, and at different levels of governance.
