Professor Kenneth Ngure
Biography
Kenneth Ngure is Associate Professor of Global Health at the School of Public Health, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Kenya, and Affiliate Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, USA. He is a public health researcher and implementation scientist whose work focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and service delivery of HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
His research spans HIV and STI epidemiology, biomedical prevention, implementation science, and strategies to improve equitable access to prevention and care services. He serves leadership and advisory roles with national and international research networks and has provided technical advice to WHO, governments, and global health partners on HIV and STI policy, implementation, and programme delivery. He is President of the International AIDS Society.
