Kesego Moalosi
Biography
Ms Kesego Moalosi is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the medical devices and In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) field. With over nine years of expertise, Ms Moalosi holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical and electrical engineering, a master’s degree in project management, and is currently pursuing another master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in Medical Technologies.
Her journey in the medical field includes roles as a Biomedical Engineer in Botswana and a Medical Devices Capital Equipment supervisor in the private sector. Currently, Ms Moalosi excels as a Medical Devices Regulatory Officer at the Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA). In this pivotal role, she ensures the safety, quality, and efficacy of medical devices, including IVDs, by implementing the Medical Devices Regulatory Framework and assessing medical device dossiers.
As a member of STAG-MEDEV, Ms Moalosi leverages her expertise to assess and register medical devices and diagnostics, aiming to enhance health technology access globally, especially in resource-limited settings. Her contributions play a crucial role in advancing healthcare technology on an international scale.
