Dr Kim Lindblade
Biography
Dr Kim A. Lindblade is an infectious disease epidemiologist with over 30 years of experience in operational research, disease control, and elimination programmes across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She holds a PhD in Epidemiologic Science from the University of Michigan and has worked extensively with the CDC and WHO, providing strategic leadership for global malaria elimination initiatives, including the E-2020 and E-2025 projects. Dr Lindblade has led high-impact research on malaria, onchocerciasis, influenza, and emerging infections, with a focus on translating scientific evidence into policy change. Her expertise spans surveillance, epidemiology, and health system strengthening, which she applies in her work with PATH and as a technical advisor to various global health organizations.
Dr Lindblade is a member of the Vector Control Advisory Group since 2024.
