Dr Richard Kojan

Dr Richard Kojan is a Clinician Physician, engaged in the low and middle resource regions for over than 15 years, practising emergency medicine, intensive care, anesthesiology and polyvalente critical care. He is a contributor in several clinical publications, particularly on emerging infectious diseases such as Ebola Virus Disease, Lassa Fever, etc.  He has contributed to the design of the Portable Biosecurity Emergency Care Unit (CUBE), to optimize the standard of care for patients, which is being trialed in low resource settings (EVD Clinical Trial).  Dr Kojan  is currently working in collaboration with several teaching hospitals, multiple partnerships with international research societies (Africa, Europe, North America, etc) and with the UN organization, to improve the COVID- 19 knowledge and to define the disease characterization. Dr Kojan is the President for The Alliance International Medical Action (ALIMA).
