Lucy Fagan
Biography
Lucy represents the Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent Health (GAMA) Advisory Group. As a young health professional, she works in the NHS and is currently supporting some of the UK’s hardest-hit communities to respond and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
With a background in both public health research and healthcare practice, Lucy’s experience includes supporting the implementation of youth-friendly health services, coordinating international research on adolescent wellbeing, and leading global advocacy efforts on adolescent health in the lead up to the UN High Level Meeting on UHC.
Lucy is also a focal point in the Major Group for Children and Youth where she works to enhance and strengthen the voice of adolescents and youth on their health and rights through global, regional and national policy processes. She is passionate about the role that youth advocacy and accountability can play in creating a sustainable, healthy and more equal world for all.
