Dr Maria Teresa Herdeiro is an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Sciences of University of Aveiro in Portugal. This expert is from Portugal.
Degree and Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, PhD and Post-Doc in Public Health, field of Pharmacoepidemiology. Specialist in Regulatory Affairs. Principal research of the Institute of Biomedicine (UA), member of the Board of the Egas Moniz Clinical Academic Centre-EMHA, director of the Master's in Clinical Research Management (UA) in collaboration with NOVA University. Currently, her research focuses on Public Health, Clinical Epidemiology, Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Research. Member of the Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee-PRAC appointed by the EU and Member of the ENCePP of the EMA, member of the Technical Chamber of Pharmacovigilance-ANVISA. Awarded with the Scientific Research Awards Prof. Doctor Odette Santos Ferreira, 2012, awarded by the OF and in 2016 with the Clinical Epidemiology Award, awarded by the Sociedade de Ciências Médicas de Lisboa. She has published 1 book, 9 book chapters, 120 papers published in Scopus, 140 communications in international and national conferences, belongs to the editorial group of 5 scientific journals. Supervisor/co-supervisor of several PhD, MSc theses, researcher in several projects funded by FCT, FIS, CNPq, QREN, la Caixa, Interreg Sudoe, Cost Action.
