Mary Plummer

Mary Plummer, PhD, is a consultant who supports the WHO ISM team’s work on integrated emergency, critical and operative care; scale-up and evaluation of evidence-based programmes (ACTxBEC); and primary-health-care-oriented models of care. Mary has supported research and writing of global guidance documents at WHO HQ for a decade. She has a background in biological and social sciences and public health programming, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, and previously worked for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UNICEF, and the Medical Research Council.
