Melissa Campos Zamora
Biography
Dr. Melissa Campos Zamora works with the Integrated Services and Models of Care team at the World Health Organization, where she supports global efforts to strengthen emergency, critical, and operative care systems through health workforce development, capacity building, and service delivery improvement. She collaborates with ministries of health, professional societies, academic institutions, and international partners to develop and scale sustainable approaches for strengthening frontline health services and improving quality of care.
An obstetrician-gynecologist from Mexico, Dr. Campos Zamora brings expertise in health professions education, curriculum innovation, faculty development, and the design of educational strategies that support health system performance and sustainable capacity building. She holds a Master of Medical Sciences in Medical Education from Harvard Medical School and serves as a Level I Researcher in Mexico’s National System of Researchers.
