Ms Mila Maistat

Mila Maistat works with Medicines Patent Pool as Senior Manager, Policy, Strategy and Market Access. She has more than 15 years of experience of working in public and global health, in particular, policy and access to medicines fields. She holds several master's degrees including a master's in public health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London.  

At Medicines Patent Pool, Mila’s work in the policy, strategy and market access covers various disease areas, including HIV, viral hepatitis, pandemic prevention, preparedness and response and geographies. To ensure that essential medicines and other health products reach countries and people in need, Mila collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders including intergovernmental, international and national public health organizations, governments, manufacturers, research and sinetrific societies, universities, procurement agencies, civil society and community-led organizations.

Mila Maistat has been serving as a member of the WHO STAG since 2014 and is also part of advisory and other committees for various global and public health groups and societies.
