Biography

Min Kyung Lim is a Professor of College of Medicine Inha University and an epidemiologist with the strong background in methodology including research design, field survey, data analysis, and evidence-based policy making for disease prevention and control. She spent over 20 years at the National Cancer Control Institutes and Graduate School of Cancer Science & Policy, National Cancer Center (NCC), Korea in a variety of leading roles, mostly related to works on building National Cancer Information Center, development of National Guidelines for Cancer Prevention, and designing of community-based intervention program for cancer prevention and control. As well, she has been the Principal Investigators for National Quitline in Korea since 2010 and the leader of Asian Pacific Quitline Network (APQN) since 2011. Based on these experiences, she published broadly on risk appraisals and behavioral interventions, and served as experts and faculties in many international workshops and training program for NCD prevention and control. Her recent work focuses on platform and programs for tailored health behaviors intervention and data-driven decision making with the health big data analysis.
