Morgane Pladys

Biography

Ms Morgane Pladys is a supply chain, procurement and biomedical engineering professional, currently serving as Lead Buyer for medical equipment at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva. She holds dual master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and supply chain/procurement management and brings over 10 years of experience in international procurement, humanitarian logistics, and health technologies, gained through both field deployments and headquarters roles. 

Ms Pladys is also a lecturer at EHESP, UTC Compiègne, and Bioforce, sharing her expertise in supply chain, procurement, biomedical engineering, and medical technologies within humanitarian and health contexts. 

At the ICRC, Ms Pladys has led the sourcing of complex medical and laboratory equipment, managed supplier relationships, and played a key role in strengthening procurement processes to ensure timely and effective support to health operations in crisis settings. She has overseen complex procurement projects such as the deployment of oxygen plant systems, and manages a diverse product portfolio including surgical instruments, cold chain equipment, laboratory and diagnostic devices. Her work also supports the organization’s efforts to reduce medical equipment waste by promoting lifecycle optimization, supplier accountability, and local maintenance capacities.
