Samuel Agyei Agyemang

Samuel Agyei Agyemang is Cost Effectiveness Analysis Reader at the Center for the Evaluation of Value and Risk in Health at Tufts Medical Centre in Boston, the United States of America. Mr Agyemang’s areas of expertise include health economics, economic evaluation, health policy, health system strengthening, climate change and health, and public health. Mr Agyemang has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Health. Mr Agyemang has experience in research on tropical diseases, HIV/AIDS, and communicable and non-communicable diseases in resource-constraint settings. Mr Agyemang worked as a Senior Public Health Researcher at the University of Ghana, School of Public Health, and led research on economic burden of diseases and health workforce performance within district health systems in low-middle income countries. Mr Agyemang was the Institute of Tropical Medicine/Directorate-General for Development Scholar in 2022/2023 and the 2024 Emerging Voices for Global Health (EV4GH) Awardee.
