Mrs Joanne is the coordinator of the Clinical Epidemiology Unit (CEU) at the Clinical Research Institute (CRI) at the American University of Beirut (AUB), and of the AUB GRADE center. She is a Pharmacist and holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her research interests include methods of guideline development, conflict of interest and stakeholder engagement. She has been involved in multiple systematic reviews, rapid reviews, and guideline development efforts. She is a member of the Multi-Stakeholder Engagement (MuSE) in guideline development core team, the COVID-19 Systematic Urgent Reviews Group Effort (SURGE) group, and the eCOVID19 recommendations map research team.
