Biography

Ms Mullen is a Senior Analyst at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and an Associate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Ms Mullen is a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Novel Coronavirus-19 Mass Gatherings Expert Group and the WHO Simulation Exercise Technical Advisory Group. Ms Mullen is also a member of the Independent Expert Panel for the International Olympic Committee and a focal point to the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network for the Johns Hopkins University.

Throughout her career, Ms Mullen has worked for the governmental sector, international organizations, and in academia. In her current work, Ms Mullen focuses on outbreak preparedness and response efforts including in-country preparedness assessments, simulation exercise development and trainings, intra- and after-action reviews, and mass gathering planning. Ms Mullen collaborates with various WHO groups and United Nations agencies to engage further with countries and improve health resilience.
