Biography

Nazanin Moslehi is an assistant professor at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. She began her work as a researcher in 2011 at the Nutrition and Endocrine Research Center, Research Institute for Endocrine Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.

She earned her PhD in Nutrition from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2020. Her innovative doctoral research involved an untargeted metabolomics study that pioneered work on the relationship between nutrition and ovarian aging.

Her research focuses on the role of nutrition and dietary components in the endocrine system, with particular emphasis on obesity, glucose- and insulin-related disorders, and female reproduction. Results of her research provide fundamental evidence for identifying dietary risk factors for cardiometabolic and endocrine disorders in Middle Eastern populations. She is an active contributor to her field, having authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented her research findings at both national and international conferences. She also serves as a frequent peer reviewer for many high-impact journals.
