Biography

Neo Morojele is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Johannesburg. She is also a Consultant to the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC) and Honorary Professor in the School of Public Health, University of the Witwatersrand and School of Public Health and Family Medicine, University of Cape Town. Her research interests include adolescent substance use; alcohol consumption and HIV infection; and access to treatment for substance use disorders. She is Co-Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Alcohol and Drug Research, and member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Substance Use and African Journal of Drug and Alcohol Studies. She is also Vice-President of the Kettil Bruun Society for Social and Epidemiological Research on Alcohol; Member of the board of the International Confederation of Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drug (ATOD) Research Associations; and Vice-President of the International Society of Addiction Journal Editors.
